Georgian Jew injured in Israel says he was attacked by Arabs with stones, bricks

Moris Janashvili, a Georgian Jew injured in Israel says he was attacked by Arabs with stones and bricks in the city of Acre (known locally as Akko).

Janashvili says he was going to his mother’s house when Arabs gathered in the area physically assaulted him.

I was going to my mother’s house. Hundreds of Arabs were gathered in the area. They saw that I had the Israeli flag attached to my car and then started throwing stones and bricks. I could not drive the car, got out and ran to my mother’s house. I thought I could not get out of there alive”, said Janashvili.

Rustavi 2 TV channel reports that injured Janashvili was transferred to hospital.

Law enforcers have not detained the individuals involved in the incident yet.
